About Beetronics
The brothers moved from São Paulo to Los Angeles in 2009 to play in the band Cruz, Filipe on guitar and Daniel on drums. Filipe taught himself pedal building from online electronics kits and is also known by the nickname Abelha, Portuguese for bee. The first batch of 50 pedals sold out within a week.
The catalogue includes the Octahive, Seabee, Larva, Nectar and Vezzpa, the Zzombee Filtremulator, and the Tuna Fuzz and Tuna Trem, the last two built into real tuna cans drilled by hand.
