About Fractal Audio
The range has grown to include the FM9 and FM3 floor units. The VP4 Virtual Pedalboard followed in 2024 and the AM4 Amp Modeler in 2025. Firmware updates keep the models in step with the Axe-Fx flagship.
Fractal Audio also developed the DynaCab speaker cabinet modelling, which lets the player position the microphone freely. In 2026 the company launched ICONS, a line of amp modelling plugins and standalone apps for macOS and Windows.
