About Superlunar

The studio was founded by designer Antonio Carusone — best known for the long-running design blog AisleOne — and came to wider notice in late 2024 with its debut hardware product, the SR-01 Analog Saturation Device. That pedal is a two-stage transistor circuit spanning overdrive to gated fuzz, voiced for guitar and also useful on bass, synths and drum machines.

Alongside hardware, Superlunar ships software such as the GX-8600 glitch and corrupt plugin, the TS-440 cassette-deck emulator and the EM-900 digital-sampler emulator. The brand’s own story page places the work at the intersection of design, art and technology, aimed at players who care about the tools they use.
