Ambience Reissue

A main echo is joined by a second tap that falls in a syncopated rhythm against it. Each echo has its own modulation, so the two move independently. The repeats then feed into a reverb designed for this pedal.

Three knobs run the circuit. Decay is two controls in one, raising the number of repeats and the amount of reverb together. Fully anticlockwise gives a single echo with no reverb. Span sets the distance between the echo taps, and Level sets the effect level.

Settings range from chorus-like textures to rhythmic repeats and a reverb wash behind the playing. Jack Deville designed the circuit. The pedal is housed in a CNC-milled Hammond enclosure and uses true bypass.
