About IK Multimedia
Early titles such as SampleTank, T-RackS and AmpliTube established the brand in computer-based music production and guitar amp and effects modelling. The range later grew to include iRig mobile interfaces and controllers, iLoud monitors, UNO instruments and TONEX modelling software and pedals, with manufacturing still based at the Modena headquarters.
For players comparing modelling plugins, portable interfaces or compact amp-capture pedals, IK is a useful reference because it covers both desktop workflows and dedicated hardware under one catalogue, with long-running lines that many guitarists already meet in practice and studio setups.
