TONEX Pedal

Each preset holds one Tone Model, which can be a single pedal, an amp or a complete rig. Cabinet sound comes from IK's multi-impulse VIR cabinets or from a loaded third-party IR. A noise gate, compressor, EQ, modulation, delay and reverb wrap around the model.

Presets sit in banks of three, one per footswitch, with pairs of switches stepping through banks. Five main knobs adjust the active preset, and a hold function gives them second duties. Models are made in the TONEX desktop software or downloaded from the ToneNET library, then sent to the pedal over USB.

Over USB, the pedal also works as an audio interface for recording, with the TONEX librarian organising presets. MIDI in and out plus an expression or footswitch input allow integration with a larger rig.
