IK Multimedia announces TONEX Board amp modeller
IK Multimedia has launched TONEX Board, a dual-path amp modeller with four Tone Models and 76 effects, available now.
IK Multimedia has launched the TONEX Board amp modeller and multi-effects unit. The board is available now from the IK Multimedia store and authorised dealers.
According to IK, TONEX Board can run up to four AI Machine Modeling Tone Models across two independent signal paths, with up to 12 Tone Model and effect slots and serial, parallel, stereo, dual-amp, and wet/dry routing. The company lists 76 effects from AmpliTube and TONEX. Editing uses a 5-inch colour touchscreen and six push-rotary knobs; four footswitches cover Preset, Scene, and Stomp modes.
Key connectivity on the product page includes two independent stereo output pairs (one with balanced XLR), a movable stereo effects loop that can operate as two mono loops, four-cable method support, MIDI, dual expression inputs, headphones, and USB-C. A planned free firmware update adds 4-in/2-out USB audio interface functionality. Included content covers 2,000 premium Tone Models, 230+ factory presets, and TONEX ecosystem software (TONEX Modeler, TONEX software, and TONEX Board Editor). AmpliTube 5 MAX is also listed among the included software.
