Nine presets, chosen with the white numbered knob, emulate well-known synthesizers. They range from searing leads and string pads to deep synth bass. Two control knobs adjust the parameters of whichever preset is selected, which keeps the layout simple.
Separate Dry and Synth volume knobs set the mix. A dedicated dry output passes the unprocessed signal on, so a clean guitar can go to one amp and the synth to another.
Tracking reaches about the 23rd fret on the high E string and down to the open A string on a bass. Players who want a different take on guitar synthesis can compare the BOSS SY-200.
