The pedal tracks each note and drives oscillators with a selectable triangle, sawtooth or square wave. Extra oscillators tuned to harmonics can be added for denser tones. A four-pole resonant low-pass filter shapes the result, with an envelope that ranges from fast plucks to slow sweeps.
Eight presets by Allison reference parts such as 'Thriller', 'Chameleon', 'Sledgehammer' and 'Head Like a Hole'. Secondary settings cover glide, compression, gate sensitivity and tracking modes for five-string bass, four-string bass or guitar.
Once configured, holding the footswitch freezes the current note. The CTR jack takes an expression pedal or tap switch, or becomes a right output for stereo and wet/dry modes. Mono mode uses true bypass, while the stereo and wet/dry modes switch to buffered bypass.
