Electro-Harmonix POG2 is a polyphonic octave generator that mixes dry guitar with four octave voices spanning two octaves below to two above.

Released in 2009, it adds an attack envelope, a resonant two-pole low-pass filter with selectable Q, and detune on the upper octaves beyond the original POG. Dry signal can stay clean or pass through attack, filter, and detune. Eight presets store mixes for footswitch recall.
Players use it for 12-string textures, sub-octave lines under chords, swell pads, and organ-like stacks while tracking full chords. Separate PRESET and BYPASS footswitches keep effect engage and preset changes independent.
The full-size successor is the POG3. Compact Micro, Nano, and Pico POG models cover simpler dry-plus-octave mixes without the POG2 attack, filter, detune, and preset stack.
