Pre and Post controls set the gain structure, and Low, Mid and High knobs shape the tone. The Mid control interacts with the two other bands. Post sets the sensitivity of the power amp input stage, so it acts as a master volume.

A switchable Saturation mode works like a second channel, adding gain and harmonics even at low output levels. At its maximum setting the pedal reaches fuzz-like levels of distortion.

In front of an amp, the pedal works as a drive with flexible EQ. In an amp's effects-loop return, it replaces the amp's own preamp. The output is line level, but there is no cabinet simulation, so direct recording needs a cab sim or plug-in.
