Dunlop Cry Baby Standard is a wah pedal that combines the red Fasel inductor with a focused high end for an aggressive sweep.

Rocking the treadle moves a resonant bandpass filter from a low heel-down centre to a bright toe-down peak. The circuit uses a Hot Potz potentiometer rated for long mechanical life inside a heavy die-cast housing.
Heel-down emphasises the lower vocal range of the sweep; toe-down pushes the filter into the upper midrange for cutting accents. The GCB95 is the current Standard model in the Cry Baby line, distinct from Classic, Mini, and artist variants.
Hardwire bypass means an unused wah still sits in the signal path and can colour tone for some players. The large rocker footprint needs board space, and the pot is a known wear item under heavy use.
