Hangman fx The Dancing Plague is a stereo multi-delay pedal and the first model in The Oddity Series. On the surface it combines a multi-tap delay with dual modulation — tremolo plus chorus or vibrato — across six named programs and two Top Secret programs.

Divergent Delay Time, available in four of the eight programs, behaves like a triple-tap delay whose taps move apart when you change the Time slider. TouchSwirl modulation follows the input signal so the chorus or vibrato depth rises and falls with playing. An analog filter sits in the path as well.
A Clock control can slow the effect clock as far as 3 kHz, stretching delay time, tremolo and modulation together. Clock Octave, division and random-octave modes reshape the repeats, and up to ten seconds of Clock knob motion can be recorded for playback. The clock can also be driven from an expression pedal or CV on the CLK EXP/CV jack.
Three bypass modes cover trails on, trails off, and a third option that takes the effect out without jumping the dry level. Hangman fx builds the pedal in Los Angeles.
