Reverb · Delay · Released 1 January 2018
Time, Repeats, Tone and Mix set the delay, and Tone shapes only the delay line. A tap switch sets the tempo, and a Ratio knob picks one of six subdivisions.
A three-way toggle selects Normal, Reverse or Swell. Reverse plays the delay backwards, while Swell fades the reverb in after each note. An expression jack can be assigned to one of six targets, including a crossfade across the toggle positions.
Bypass can be true or buffered, and buffered mode offers five trail lengths. One of these turns the pedal into a lo-fi sound-on-sound looper. Stereo inputs and outputs work in stereo or mono, and the dry signal stays analogue. For a stranger reverb from the same maker, see the Afterneath.
EarthQuaker Devices Avalanche Run is a stereo delay and reverb pedal that pairs up to two seconds of delay with a modulated plate reverb. The reverb has a light modulation in the spirit of the Dispatch Master, with its own Decay control.
