Delay · Reverb · Granular · Released 1 January 2022
SOMA Laboratory Cosmos is a stereo delay, reverb and granular effect that the maker calls a drifting memory station. It layers recorded sound into a soundscape that keeps changing instead of repeating as a fixed loop.

Four algorithms are available: Two Delays, Four Delays, Giant Reverb and Granular Delay. Every delay line has a different prime-number length, an asynchronous LFO moves them, and a slow chaotic signal modulates the result. Because those cycles do not line up, the layers recombine without an obvious repeat point.
The pedal works like a looper in that sounds can be recorded, layered and processed endlessly, but it has no intrusive loop. Footswitches for high-pass and low-pass filtering, erase, reverse and record sit alongside controls for blur, drift, drive, feedback and mix.
The sound memory holds 44.7 seconds of audio. Firmware updates are installed from a USB flash drive.
