Source Audio Ventris Dual Reverb is a stereo reverb pedal that runs two independent processors, so two reverb engines can play at once. It was announced at NAMM in January 2017 as part of the One Series.
The A, A+B and B toggle chooses one engine or both together. Paired engines can run in parallel, in series or split left and right. The second processor also lets reverb tails spill over naturally when switching presets.
The selector offers twelve engines, from room, hall, plate and spring types to shimmer, reverse, swell, lo-fi and the echo-plus-reverb Echoverb. More engines, such as Outboard Spring and Metal Box, load through the Neuro desktop or mobile app. The app also opens parameters that have no knob.
Eight presets are reachable from the pedal controls, and MIDI raises that to 128. The Option footswitch can be set for preset scrolling, A/B toggling, reverb hold, runaway self-oscillating reverb or tap tempo. For most engines the dry signal stays analogue, and bypass is selectable between relay true bypass and buffered.
