Three voices shape the repeats. The adm voice recalls early '80s adaptive delta modulation units, and 12 bit models mid-'80s 12-bit, 32 kHz PCM conversion with companding. The 24/96 voice stays clean and full range for modern, uncolored repeats.
Routing decides how the two delays interact. Series feeds Delay 2 into Delay 1, parallel keeps them separate, and ping pong bounces repeats across the stereo field. Free Mode unlinks Delay 2, turning the pedal into two independent delays.
A Tone knob works as two filters, cutting highs to the left and lows to the right. Three modulation levels add movement to the trails. The V2 update adds a JFET input and a mono or stereo input switch. Full MIDI over the EXP/MIDI jack or USB-C brings clock sync and presets.
Strymon DIG V2 is a dual digital delay pedal that pairs two linked delay lines with voicings modelled on 1980s rack units. Delay 1 sets the main time, while Delay 2 follows at one of five rhythmic subdivisions, including the golden ratio.
