Strymon · United States
Tremolo · Reverb · Released 28 June 2022
Tremolo modes cover '61 harmonic band filtering, '63 power-tube bias pulsing, and '65 photocell chopping. Reverb modes cover '60s two-spring tank, '70s electronic plate, and '80s rack hall. Independent footswitches engage each side; effect order and pre-delay are live-edit secondary functions.
The second generation, sold from June 2022, keeps the original algorithms and adds full MIDI with up to 300 presets, USB-C, a rear mono/stereo input switch, Class A JFET input, a wider tremolo speed range down to nearly 1 Hz, and an ARM DSP. Bypass is selectable true or buffered.
Designed and built in the USA for boards that need classic tremolo and reverb without separate pedals for each.
Strymon Flint V2 is a tremolo and reverb pedal that recreates mid-century amp tremolo circuits alongside spring, plate, and hall-style spaces in one enclosure.
