Six gold knobs follow the layout of the original heads: Volume I, Volume II, Output, Bass, Middle and Treble. The two Volume controls blend the amp's two input channels. Alternate functions add Room, Presence and Boost.

A Cab switch chooses between three speaker cabinets and microphone setups, and the cabinet can be bypassed for use with a real speaker. Two boosts are built in, modelled on an EP-III tape echo preamp and a graphic EQ pedal.

The UAFX app connects over Bluetooth for editing, and four presets are stored in the pedal next to Live mode. MIDI over USB-C allows preset changes. Stereo inputs and outputs support a 4-cable connection. The Dream '65 covers American clean amps in the same format.
