Up to 11 effect modules run at once, and the order of the chain can be changed per patch. The library covers amps, cabinets and stompbox effects, with slots for third-party impulse responses. Dedicated module buttons switch blocks on and off from the top panel.

Footswitches work in three modes, and the upper row has guards against accidental presses. The expression pedal uses an optical sensor and can control several parameters at once. A 4.3-inch colour screen shows the chain, while amp-style knobs handle direct adjustment.

Away from the stage, the GP-200 adds a looper with undo and redo, a drum machine and a USB audio interface. An auxiliary input can be routed to USB for streaming. A free editor handles patches, firmware and IR management on a computer.
