BOSS CE-2W is a Waza Craft analog chorus that recreates the classic CE-2 and CE-1 sounds in a modern compact enclosure.

Released in 2016 for BOSS’s 40th anniversary, Standard mode matches the 1979 CE-2 and adds stereo outputs the original lacked. CE-1 mode covers the 1976 Chorus Ensemble’s stereo chorus and vibrato, with variable chorus depth beyond the original pedal.
Circuitry is all-analog with a bucket-brigade delay line. Rate and Depth adjust both modes; a three-position switch selects Standard, CE-1 chorus, or CE-1 vibrato. Outputs A (mono) and B support stereo amp setups.
Buffered bypass and Japan production match the early CE heritage. Rate and Depth stay the only continuous controls, so most settings stay quick to recall on stage.
