BOSS CH-1 Super Chorus is a chorus pedal that adds an EQ control and a split wet/dry stereo output to the classic BOSS chorus. Shops also list it as the CH-1 Stereo Super Chorus, or simply CH1. Released in 1989, it moved from an analogue bucket-brigade circuit to a digital one in 2001.

Rate and Depth set the speed and width of the pitch movement. E.Level sets how much chorused signal joins the dry one. The EQ knob is a low-pass filter on the effect only, darker turned down and brighter turned up.
With a single cable in Output A, the pedal sends a mono mix of chorus and dry signal. Connecting Output B splits the two: A then carries only the chorus voice and B only the dry signal. Sent to two amps, the voices combine in the room, an idea taken from the Roland JC-120. Speaker spacing changes the result, and lowering E.Level or EQ shifts the image towards Output B.
The Waza Craft CE-2W is the all-analogue, made-in-Japan alternative. Its modes recreate the CE-2 chorus and the CE-1 chorus and vibrato, using Rate and Depth only, without effect level or EQ. Its stereo outputs split chorus and dry in the same way. Players hunting an analogue CH-1 check the serial number, as the change happened mid-production.
