One of my favorites

It was one of my first pedals. It cuts thru the mix and has that fuzzy touch to the sound.
Gain rises with harder picking, and rolling the guitar volume back reduces the drive. The BD-2 can also sit as a full-range boost in front of other drives or high-gain amps when a mid-hump is not wanted.
Higher gain can turn fizzy, and the Tone control can sound harsh or lifeless at the extremes. A Tube Screamer mid-hump pairs well when more saturation is needed for leads.
The Waza Craft BD-2W keeps the same Level, Tone and Gain layout in an enclosure of the same size. Its revised circuit is all-discrete analogue, and a mode switch adds a second voice. Standard mode follows the BD-2 sound, while Custom mode adds body and sustain. The BD-2 has a single voice and no mode switch.
