A bucket-brigade chip produces repeats of up to 750 ms, or up to 1.5 s during Rubberneck bends. Drift sets modulation in light, medium or heavy ranges, and the Curve switch picks a sine, reverse saw, square or random waveform. Filter sets a low-pass cutoff for the repeats, and Feedback can push the delay into self-oscillation.
Holding the footswitch engages Friction, which warps the delay time in real time. SlideStop slides the repeats down one or two octaves. Rubberneck bends them an octave up or down, and Evade adds HopStop and Slide-n-Go accelerations. The Friction knob sets how quickly each warp starts and recovers.
Three bypass modes cover true hardwired bypass, buffered bypass with trails, and buffered bypass with trails and dry kill. The jacks sit on the top edge. An optional FS3X footswitch adds tap tempo, curve on/off and Friction control. The reversible StagePlate base has a rubber pad on one side and hook-and-loop on the other.
