The delay side uses Keeley's Magnetic Echo circuit, which emulates an analogue tape echo with up to 650 ms of delay. A three-way switch adds wow and flutter modulation to the repeats.
The reverb side offers Spring, Modulation and Shimmer. Spring mode imitates a blackface-amp spring tank and adds a tremolo. Modulation adds a chorus-like movement to the reverb, and Shimmer emphasises octave-up voices in the tail.
Compared with the first Caverns, V2 spreads the controls further apart and leaves more room between the footswitches. The jacks sit on top for tight boards. Players can choose between true bypass and trails, and TRS breakout cables allow effects patching or use with a switching system. The pedal is built in the USA.
