In the Halo rhythm, two delay lines run at a fixed time offset, so the repeats blur towards a reverb-like wash. Four other rhythms cover quarter notes, dotted eighths, a bucket-brigade analog voice and a multi-head tape echo. A Saturate control adds tape-style compression and darkens the repeats.
The footswitches select Side A or Side B, and only one side runs at a time. With trails on, the outgoing echoes carry over during the switch. Holding the active side's switch enters tap tempo, while holding the other gives infinite hold until release. Four banks give eight stored sounds.
Secondary controls sit behind the Feedback knob: hold it and turn other knobs to reach high-pass, Saturate, Tone and Rhythm. A status light shows when a knob has moved from its stored position. A TRS expression pedal can sweep any set of knobs.
