The Max version comes loaded with 52 algorithms and 99 presets. They cover delay, reverb, modulation, pitch shifting and distortion, including the H910/H949 harmoniser models, Blackhole reverb, UltraTap and CrushStation.
Editing on the pedal goes through one large knob and four buttons for HotKnob, X, Y and Z. Deeper editing, setlists and preset management run in the free H9 Control app over Bluetooth or USB. Two footswitches handle bypass, preset changes and tap tempo.
Stereo inputs and outputs, an expression or auxiliary switch input and full MIDI make it suitable for studio and stage rigs. A tuner is built in. Switching uses true analogue bypass, and more than 500 presets are available through the app.
Eventide H9 Max is a multi-effects pedal that runs every algorithm from the TimeFactor, ModFactor, PitchFactor and Space pedals. Effects made only for the H9 are included too.
