Compression is set with three controls: a three-position Attack switch, a Release knob and an Input knob that sets the trigger level. An active Tone control with centre detent cuts or adds treble. Blend mixes in the uncompressed signal for parallel compression.

A rear Vintage switch changes the circuit from a clean, precise action to a more coloured response with mild saturation. The Comp Pre/Post switch places the boost before or after the compressor. Boost first gives long sustain; boost after gives a solo level lift.

Compression and boost have separate footswitches, each with latching and momentary operation. Bypass can be set to true or buffered. The enclosure is black, although some maker listings name a different colour.
