TC Electronic Plethora X3 is a multi-effects pedalboard that loads three TonePrint pedals at once and stores them as complete boards. Up to 127 boards can be saved and recalled with a dedicated selector.
Each of the three slots can host any effect from the TonePrint range, including Hall of Fame reverb and Flashback delay. A few effects, such as the Tape Deck looper, exist only on this unit. Slot order can be changed, which alters how the effects interact.
The footswitches do more than turn slots on and off. Holding a switch triggers secondary functions such as MASH pressure control, RAMP or tap tempo. Hot Knobz assignments let the main knobs adjust chosen parameters without entering edit mode.
TonePrints can be loaded from the TonePrint app over USB or Bluetooth, with up to 75 stored per pedal type. The editor exposes many parameters hidden from the front panel. MIDI in and thru, stereo I/O and the UniTune tuner complete the package.
