About Xotic
The first Xotic pedal, the Robotalk, appeared in 1998 with a random arpeggiator and an envelope filter. In August 2000, Prosound Communications Inc. was set up as the parent company of the brand, and a Japanese branch followed a year later.
The AC Booster and RC Booster arrived in 2002 and the BB Preamp in 2005. The EP Booster of 2009 started a line of mini pedals with internal DIP switches, later joined by the SP Compressor and SL Drive. The catalogue also includes the Xotic Wah, the California Classic guitars and Raw Vintage pickups.
