The circuit is a discrete FET design with a low-impedance output and up to 20 dB of boost. One knob sets the boost level, and its minimum still adds about 3 dB by default.
Two internal DIP switches set the voicing. The default setting has the +3 dB minimum and the bright switch on. Turning the first switch off gives unity gain at minimum, and turning both off gives the vintage setting.
Running the pedal at up to 18 V adds headroom. Bypass is true bypass, and the switches sit inside, so changing them means removing the base plate. Limited 15th anniversary colours and the larger EP-Pro are separate models.
