Deuce Coupe

An internal split-rail supply runs the circuit at plus and minus 9 V, which gives more headroom than a single 9 V rail. The input is matched so the pedal follows picking and the guitar volume control even when it is not first in the chain.

Gain, Tone and Level shape the overdrive, and Ultra sets an extra clean boost of up to about 16 dB. Ultra only works with the drive engaged. Pressing the Ultra switch from bypass turns both on at once, which suits a quick lead boost.

Total gain reaches more than 56 dB at maximum settings, so Level needs care with a clean amp. Switching uses Click-Less relay true bypass.
