The mk2 improves the signal-to-noise ratio by 22 dB over the mk1, and it has the lowest noise floor in the Bondi line. An internal rail at 24 V is what gives the clipping its headroom. A toggle changes the drive character. Up adds compression and distortion. Down uses less compression, keeps more bass, and uses a Bluesbreaker-style clip.
Bass and Treble are active bands. Each one can boost or cut by 15 dB. Output is a passive level control placed after the drive, so impedance at the output changes with that knob. The footswitch is soft-touch true bypass.

Bondi Effects Del Mar Overdrive mk2 is an overdrive that blends a clean path with a mixed drive circuit. That drive takes parts from a Klon, a Tube Screamer, and a Bluesbreaker, without copying any one of them. Drive sets the distortion and how much clean signal stays in the mix. At a low Drive setting the pedal works as a clean boost. This second version was released in 2022.
