Modes span Standard, Analog, Tape, Warm, Reverse, delay-plus-reverb (+RV), Shimmer, and Mod, plus hold-engaged Warp and GLT textures and a Loop recorder. Delay time reaches up to about 10 seconds with tap tempo. The looper records up to 40 seconds in mono or 20 seconds in stereo with overdubs. A Carryover switch keeps or cuts trails when you bypass.
Dual 1/4-inch inputs and outputs support mono, stereo, wet/dry, and wet-only setups through cable routing. The TEMPO/EXP jack adds external tap, expression control of level, feedback, or time, Twist, and extended looper stop and clear with FS footswitches.
Released in 2019 beside the DD-3T, the DD-8 sits at the feature-dense end of the compact DD line for players who want many delay flavours and a spare looper without a larger multi-delay footprint.
