Twenty-three amplifier types and 146 effects can run as eight blocks at once, plus a volume pedal and noise suppression. Effect order is adjustable. Category buttons switch a block or open it on the colour display. Gear Suite stores a full setup for each amp or effect, so one knob recalls a factory setting or a saved user setting.
Three footswitches and an expression pedal with a toe switch are freely assignable. A jack adds two further switches or a second expression pedal. Bluetooth plays audio from a phone. USB-C records into a computer or a phone. BOSS Tone Studio edits sounds, slows or loops a practice track, and opens BOSS Tone Exchange. WAV speaker responses can be loaded next to the stock cabinets.
Memory holds 99 presets and 99 user patches. A phrase looper stores 38 seconds in mono, or 19 seconds in stereo.
