The ratio runs from 1:1 to 30:1, so settings range from light levelling to hard limiting. The threshold covers a 60 dB range. Dry blends the uncompressed signal back in for parallel compression that keeps the pick attack.

Two footswitches handle the main tasks. Select changes between preset 1 and preset 2, and Bypass turns the effect on or off. A Remote jack accepts an external switch for preset changes from elsewhere on the board.

The internal circuit is designed for extra headroom, so strong input signals do not distort. Bypass is true bypass. Level controls offer up to 20 dB of cut or gain per preset.
