Drunk Beaver Kostiantynivka Dominator Preamp is a tube preamp and bias tremolo pedal modelled on the vibrato channel of the vintage Watkins Dominator amplifier. Drunk Beaver released it in 2026 as Pedal Drop #43, a limited run named after the Ukrainian city of Kostiantynivka.

At its core is a NOS Soviet 6N17B-V subminiature dual triode running from a 190 V internal rail, which a step-up circuit inside the pedal generates. Following the original amp's layout, one triode works as the gain stage and the other as the low-frequency oscillator.
The tremolo comes from modulating both the high-tension supply and the bias of that gain stage. As a result, the signal gains overdrive as each wave peaks instead of only changing in level. Vintage amps labelled this effect vibrato. Speed and Intensity set the rate and depth of the pulse, and Intensity also governs how much grit the modulation adds. Volume and Tone follow the amp's own control set.
A Low/High toggle drops the input level by 6 dB to suit hot pickups or a cleaner signal. A trimmer on the circuit board adjusts the brightness of the status LED.
