Latch freezes sound until bypassed and can layer new freezes. Moment holds only while the footswitch is pressed. Auto freezes whenever the input crosses its threshold, so sustain can follow playing without constant stomping. Separate Dry and Effect levels set the blend. Gliss morphs between frozen sounds like a portamento. Speed/Layer sets attack or decay in Moment and Auto, or previous-layer attenuation in Latch.
Selectable bypass topologies let the pedal stay fully digital in bypass, use buffered analog bypass, or blend approaches for smoother transitions. Mono I/O keeps the chain simple. Owners who already know Freeze or Superego treat Auto mode and layering as the main upgrades, while noting the footswitch click.
