Ultraplate builds quickly, in the manner of a plate. Cathedra builds more slowly and runs much longer. Space Decay sets the length. Holding Swell pushes that decay to its maximum. Lo Frequency and Hi Frequency change how lows and highs die away. Pitch Vector sets an interval inside the reverb: octave down, a small shift, a fifth up, or octave up. Mix stays in the analogue domain, so the dry path is not converted. Hold Alt for the second job on each knob, including pre-delay, density and swell attack.
Presets are not stored on the pedal. An external four-preset switch or MIDI, both through the EXP jack, recalls them. The same jack also takes an expression pedal or tap. Bypass can be a relay or an analogue buffer. Released in 2017. This is the floor version of the Mercury7 500-series module, in a deep blue case over brushed aluminium.
Meris Mercury7 is a stereo reverb pedal that runs Ultraplate and Cathedra programs with a footswitchable swell.
