DoubleTracker Stereo

Double tracking originally meant recording a part twice and layering the takes. The pedal imitates this by adding a slightly delayed and detuned second voice to the dry signal. On the left channel the delay runs from 3 to 178 ms, and detune reaches half a semitone either way.

Wet/Dry, Spread and Detune set the blend, timing and pitch of the second voice. Sync mode tunes both channels' second voices together, while Comp mode moves them in opposite directions for a much wider stereo image. One preset is saved with a button and recalled with its own footswitch.

Any knob turned fully clockwise to its EXP mark hands control to an expression pedal. The pedal runs mono, mono to stereo or true stereo, and its high input headroom suits bass, keys and vocals as well as guitar. Bypass is buffered.
