Nano Cortex

Capturing works without a computer or app: connect the amp or pedal, start the process, and the unit builds a model in minutes. The resolution matches the larger Quad Cortex. Thousands of captures made by other players are also available through the Cortex Cloud service.

Around the capture sits a configurable chain with more than 50 effects and utilities plus an IR loader. A built-in input gate does not use an effect slot. Two footswitches handle preset and effect control and can be reassigned. Bluetooth lets a phone manage presets and download captures.

The unit can run from a USB battery pack, which suits travel and practice away from mains power. USB also carries audio for recording and full MIDI control, alongside a TRS MIDI input. A transpose function shifts tuning without retuning the instrument.
