Neural DSP Quad Cortex Mini is an amp modeller and multi-effects floor unit that runs the full Quad Cortex platform in a smaller chassis. Released in January 2026, it keeps the same CorOS software, Neural Capture workflow, and 7-inch touchscreen as the flagship Quad Cortex.
Four stainless-steel rotary footswitches replace the larger unit's eleven switches. Pages extend Preset, Scene, Stomp, and Hybrid control without adding hardware. Neural Capture V1 runs offline on the device. Capture V2 uses Cortex Cloud for higher-resolution captures of dynamic gear. The Grid editor shows signal flow on the touchscreen, with up to four parallel paths.
Connectivity includes instrument and combo capture inputs, shared TRS dual loops, XLR and TS outs, TRS MIDI, expression, headphones, and a capture out. USB-C provides an 8-in/8-out audio interface. Wi-Fi links the unit to Cortex Cloud for captures, presets, and updates. Presets and backups move between Mini and full Quad Cortex without rebuilding.
