StewMac Hooligan Boost is a DIY boost pedal kit co-designed with Scotti Hill of Skid Row. The circuit is inspired by the Dallas Rangemaster treble-boost idea, then expanded with an eight-position Range control so the builder can choose how much top end the boost emphasises versus a fuller, low-end-heavy lift.

Range is a stepped rotary that moves from bright, cutting boost settings into fuller-frequency boost. Volume is a conventional 0-10 pot on the face. Together they are meant for pushing an amp toward breakup, adding bite for leads, or sitting as an always-on level lift, depending on where both controls sit.
The kit ships with resistors, switches, a pre-drilled metal enclosure, custom printed labels, and step-by-step instructions written for a first-time builder. Enclosure choices are bare metal or powder-coated white so the finish can stay stock or be painted. Input and output jacks mount at the rear for cable routing along a pedalboard.
Scotti Hill's stated starting point is Range near 11 o'clock with Volume cranked. Two StewMac item numbers cover the kit: 104858 with the bare enclosure and 104859 with the white enclosure.
