TC Electronic Flashback 2 Delay is a delay pedal that combines eight delay types, three TonePrint slots and a pressure-sensitive footswitch. Released in 2017, it follows the original Flashback Delay.

The delay types cover 2290, analog, tape, dynamic, modulated, crystal and reverse voicings. The 2290 type uses the algorithm of TC's rack delay of the same name. Crystal shifts the repeats up an octave through each feedback loop, which builds a shimmer that rises with every repeat.
MASH turns the footswitch into an expression control. The harder you press, the more it changes a parameter chosen for each delay type. On tape it raises feedback and shortens the delay time for self-oscillation. On 2290 it holds the last repeat, and on reverse it mutes the dry signal.
Custom delay settings load through the TonePrint app or editor and are stored in the three TonePrint slots. A looper mode records phrases of up to 40 seconds, and MASH is disabled while it is engaged. Bypass is switchable between true and buffered, and the dry signal passes through in analog form.
