Multi-Effects · Amp Modeler · Released 1 January 2020
BOSS GT-1000CORE is a multi-effects processor that packs the complete GT-1000 sound engine into a compact stompbox. Three footswitches and a small screen suit pedalboards, while the GX-100 offers a larger floor format with a built-in expression pedal.
A patch can run 24 blocks at once, including two amps, in series or parallel routings. The library holds 185 effect types built on AIRD amp modelling. Sixteen slots accept WAV speaker impulse responses, and a dedicated mode adapts the processing for bass.
Conversion runs at 32 bits with 96 kHz sampling and 32-bit floating-point processing. A looper records up to 38 seconds in mono or 19 seconds in stereo. Storage covers 250 user patches alongside 250 presets.
Two send and return loops handle external pedals, the four-cable method or separate outputs. Control jacks accept footswitches and expression pedals, and a control output switches amp channels. MIDI runs on TRS jacks, while USB carries audio and MIDI to a computer.
