Kurt Cobain's use of the pedal with Nirvana in the 1990s made it a common reference for grunge chorus. The controls sit on a raised top panel above the footswitch, next to a status LED.
Rate sets how fast the pitch of the delayed signal rises and falls. The Depth switch chooses between a subtle and a stronger amount of pitch change. With only these two controls, settings are quick to find on stage.
The pedal is mono, with true bypass, so the signal path is unbuffered when the effect is off. The circuit is fully analogue, with no digital delay line.
