Fulltone Custom Shop OCD v1.4 is an overdrive pedal that recreates the original hand-wired OCD v1.4 circuit board part for part. This is the version that first made the OCD widely known, and the Custom Shop run is a limited edition of 500 units.

Compared with later OCD versions, v1.4 has a fuller bass response, a more open top end and less of a midrange hump. Players who know the current OCD v2 will find the same basic layout with a different voicing.
Three knobs set Volume, Drive and Tone. An HP/LP toggle switches between two voicings, with HP giving more gain and a brighter, more open sound, and LP a tighter, smoother one. The range runs from light breakup to thick, amp-like overdrive.
The enclosure carries a cream finish with a Custom Shop badge and a blue status LED. The pedal sits on the board as a standalone overdrive or in front of an amp that is already breaking up.
