Current units from serial 205811 upward are the less-compressed V2 circuit. A Class A JFET input raises impedance to 1 MΩ for better pickup load, and an output buffer runs when the pedal is on in true bypass or always in Enhanced Bypass. An internal switch selects true bypass or Enhanced Bypass without switch pop.
Volume, Drive, Tone, and the HP/LP toggle cover low-gain boost through higher-gain drive. Guitar volume cleans the gain structure in a way many owners treat as core to the pedal. LP leans darker and more open; HP raises mid emphasis and gain.
Released as the commercial V2 update in 2017 after earlier V1.x revisions. Size and weight below come from retailer spec sheets when the maker page omits them.
