The SoloDallas Schaffer Replica Storm is a 100% analog pedal built around circuitry SoloDallas reverse-engineered from the 1974 Schaffer-Vega Diversity System wireless unit. It combines a limiter, expanded EQ, harmonic clipping, a clean boost and a line buffer in one enclosure.

Gain sets the harmonic clipping circuit, which lifts the low-mid frequencies. Boost controls an LM308-flavoured clean preamp with up to 31dB of boost. Limiter sets the signal amplitude threshold, and its sensitivity rises as Gain is turned up.
The current version has Neutrik top-mounted jacks, a heavy-duty true bypass footswitch and a blue LED. It runs on 9–12V DC centre-negative power at 200mA, with the adapter sold separately, and is made in the USA.
