EarthQuaker Devices Blumes Jr MOSFET Mod is a limited-edition bass overdrive that moves the Blumes Low Signal Shredder into a junior-size enclosure and replaces one clipping mode with MOSFET clipping. Released in 2026 as a limited run, it sits alongside the standard Blumes rather than replacing it.

The circuit starts from the Plumes guitar overdrive, then doubles the gain and deepens the bass response so the low end stays clear while the tone still cuts through a mix.
A three-way toggle picks the clipping. L uses a pair of LEDs and is the crunchiest setting, with less compression and plenty of output. N drops the clipping diodes for op-amp drive with the loudest output and fullest frequency range, and turns into a clean boost with Gain below about 11 o'clock.
M replaces the asymmetrical silicon diodes of the standard pedal's third mode with MOSFET clipping, aimed at more harmonics, a fuller low end and a response closer to a cranked high-gain valve amp. The L and N settings follow Modes 1 and 2 of the full-size Blumes. A guitar version, the Plumes Jr MOSFET Mod, was released alongside it.
